The roof does overhang the boundary by a couple of inches. the shed was there when we purchased our property in 2005, we were not aware of the overhang until we spotted the fence post starting to rot this year and believe that the shed may have been repositioned at some time although we cannot prove this.. My neighbours shed roofs (2 off) are causing water to ingress my property and damaging my recently installed fencing. the shed roofs are directly in-line with the top of my fence, with no means of guttering etc. to drain the water into his own property.. We're building a garage which will have one wall along the boundary with our neighbour. the neighbour is taking this opportunity to build a small shelter which uses the side of our garage to support a light plastic roof. i'd like to know the rules on drainage. the roofs on both structures will take rain water to the same boundary..
