shed floor ventilation
A ridge vent is installed at the peak of the shed roof for shed ventilation. the apex of the roof will have an opening and the ridge vent will be installed at the apex. the ridge vent will allow air to escape from the inside of the shed and ventilate the shed.. What the best way to ventilate under shed floor? im building a 6x3m wooden garden house on a concrete foundation, and am planning to build 1 or 2 layers of brick under the walls to prevent water running underneath, but then if it is sealed under the wooden floor there will be no ventilation for the floor and its beams.. Does the floor have a dpm? if not it will be wicking water up from the ground, which in the current wet spell will be a lot. if the shed is unheated, you can give it as much ventilation as you like. gaps round the eaves will do. have you got guttering and a downpipe to prevent water running from the roof onto the walls ands base?. shed floor ventilation
